  1. Step 1 Map sensor stations that measure conditions such as temperature, turbidity, water level, and conductivity at different locations.
  2. Step 2 Plan code that validates readings, compares trends with thresholds, stores evidence, and sends tiered alerts.
  3. Step 3 Include calibration checks, missing-data handling, manual confirmation, and a safe response when a sensor or connection fails.
  4. Step 4 Assess who benefits, who maintains the network, how communities participate in decisions, and how automated warnings could be misunderstood.
